I do run mine at quite a high flow rate I suppose, about 800 miles to the reservoir.

But, it doesn't get much crap stuck to it at all.

jees i must have mine set far too high, unless you have a touring one. Id only get about 400 miles to a reservoir, maybe 500

the scottoil is much thinner just, i think thats probly why not as much rubbish sticks to it.

It's only 12 miles to a reservoir for me.

Underbank - it's very pictoresque and has good fishing

Less sticky stuff in it, more like an oil than a glue.
