Shame I don't live nearer Ed, I wouldve done the work for you and not needed the crane for the steel lol, I've put some monsters in with about 10 blokes helping instead

Tarmac? No that's for other mugs

The steel is now in, what a beast. In fact there are two pieces. And the ceiling beams have gone now, and half the roof They can't knock any more down, there' ll be nothing left Some new timber has gone in... but nowhere near inhabitable. We will be living in the caravan from this weekend till about the end of October/early November

I bet his builders are paying for a grab load instead of a skip, it's cheaper but a lot of customers, especially if living in the house while works going on, don't like a huge pile of crap on their drive

In some circumstances, it's also double handling.
