Blasphemy!

I see where you're coming from in some of your posts that a superbike is a lot more accessible than a supercar and that's the main reason why many people buy bikes. But IMO bikes are also a hell of a lot more fun regardless of the price differences.

yeah tbh I'd love to have a go on an rs125 (haven't had chance yet) and a drz400 - neither of them particularly fast but I reckon both would have more character than almost any supercar you could throw at it (ariel atom excluded, but even then all you have to do is push pedals and turn a wheel... no body movement or other input like you get with bikes)

I'll clearly admit I haven't DP. But I personally would enjoy a very fast car more than a very fast bike.
I've driven a ferrari 360 round a track, admittedly not particularly fast, but it was a huge buzz. I've only ever ridden my SV and my training bikes and they're really good fun to the extent where I favour riding to driving my car by a long way, but to me personally it just isn't quite the same as being in something as fast and expensive/exclusive as what I would imagine being in a lamborghini or such would be like.
I think it's to do with knowing how inaccessable most exotic cars are.
Before anyone states there's stupidly expensive bikes, I am aware... but in general a performance bike is easier to come across than a proper performance car.

It's nothing more than an opinion - but clearly the wrong one for a bike forum
