no your iphone supports push, its hotmail that doesn't.
Stupid hotmail . you can set-up gmail and gmx to retrieve your hotmail emails if you want to make a new account.

I got that sort of thing yesterday. It said it had a signal but when I tried to phone it didn't ring or anything. Tried another number and same thing, just went in to call mode but no ringing. Switched it off and on and it was fine
