No, MIL lives in Falmouth, we're stopping with her for a few days.

We have a winner

Yes, it's The Lizard. The first pic is Old Lizard Head, and the others are of Caerthillian Cove and Pentreath Beach, with a telephoto shot of Kynance Cove - it's recognisable by the giant frog-shaped rock.

The next two are of Lizard Point, which is England's most southerly point, and the lighthouse. It is just so beautiful and almost completely unspoiled, most of the coastline is owned by The National Trust. And it was 19C there yesterday, windy, but T shirt weather

nice E

you deserve a break and time to reflect..

Mand and I had a good time at The Lizard.. we walked down to where the old boats are there was one called Frances moored up there- her mums name !

anyway we got in a conversation with a patronising old bloke about why lizard point should really be called lands end.. it was funny.

nice part of the country and really does make you realise we are an island.. more so than when you look out from colwyn bay -

only other places i have experienced the feeling of surrounded by sea is skye and applecross on the GM's
