U01-4-100 (and a spare of each in the toolbox)

Its a throttle tube in a throttle tube holder. Its no more likely to go "Dodgy" than it is on either the R6 it came from or the Sv one thats originally on there.

It would last 100,000 miles without wearing out so in what way does it go dodgy?

The single cable Venhills are good but take up a fair bit of room on the handlebar so if you still have your switchgear you may have to do some moving around.

I use the more expensive Active Q/A throttles as Princess says. They run twin cables and come with 3 cams to tailor exactly how quick you want it. They are about £100-£110 depending on bike. Pop it on your Xmas list!!

Pointy S model housing does not have throttle tube stop that aligns with r6 tube and plastic on corner of tube will wear out and jump over stop.

zadar is it true that for a naked i dont even have to cut the tube ?
