WTF. sell by 28/11/10, Best before 30/11/10. They are in christmas packaging, wishing you a merry christmas from Marks and Spencer with holly and berries etc. Damm things will be mouldy before christmas.

Why put on the shelves stuff intended for christmas if it is not going to to be fit for consuming at christmas?

Why did she not check the dates on the packaging??

OK, it must be me!!! They are not intended to be for christmas, they are there to make the customer think about christmas and to put them into spending mode.

Funnily enough this was on watchdog last night. Although mince pies last ages after their best before date - but just scoff them and don't tell the wife that.
