I doesnt look too bad, agree its a little high but nice to see something different done. Was there much work to get it to fit?

Ah, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The plastic maggot I seem to recall never won any beauty contests either but did do a reasonable job of getting one from A to B. My SV does the same and now it can do it in the dark without scaring the life out of me at anything over 30mph in the dark.

Will let you know how it looks when the paint is done.

'Tis indeed different. Was a bit of work - cut, mate and weld the gixxer/sv fairing bracket, weld up bracket for clocks, make up other mountings for lowers. Lots of try it and see engineering but the end result I find works for me. Just need a flip screen for the winter and it'll be fine.

Surely not another area where the pointy beats the old curvy?

I think it looks horrendous like. It doesnt at all flow with the rest of the bike. It just doesnt work. The front end looks dated as heck and the rear looks like a modern bike. I don't think it looks factory fitted at all.

As long as your happy with it though all is cool
