Im told its not quite the "experience" it used to be.All been demolished and replaced by respectable and very boring shops.

Is the fire house still going in Manilla? Or the 20th century equivalent of sodom and gomorrah know as Sungai Kolok on the border between Thailand and Malaysia. I used to have to be sent there every couple of weeks to leave/re-enter Malaysia. It was hell a weekend on expenses

Dont know about Sungai Kolok but I vaguely recall some dive called Sloppy Joe's in Manilla and the Mosquito Bar in Bangkok.Always entertaining.
