depends on the rest of stuf you have on your bike though as to how it affects the AIR/Fuel mix

Currently all mods are cosmetic apart from the slip on can so wouldnt really make any difference

On a pointy the air intake is on the front of the air box so I can't see these doing anything more than a bit of styling, but if the info I'm picking up is right then the intake on a curvy is on top of the air box, so at illegal speeds you might get a bit of ram-air effect.


This is unless you are running a pointy with a modified air box lid...

The curvies is on top of the air box
Lifting it on the curvy 'in theory' gives more air to the engine

It doesn't since either bike sucks air in as needed or as motor can. It works on atmospheric pressure. For ram air you need to force air in.
Spacers help with air circulating through easier so maybe you can get hot air out of there faster. Same reason you have holes in side fairing, so hot air can exit.

I have them on my bike and they made no difference what so ever. Nil - Nowt!

thou is double the size but the problem with that is theres less space under the tank for stuf like HID ballasts

Like all things like this, they add a little, but only as part of a set of mods like filter, jets, zorst etc etc. On thir own, they do sod all.

And yeas i did dyno my bike before and after...a long time ago
