depends on the rest of stuf you have on your bike though as to how it affects the AIR/Fuel mix

Currently all mods are cosmetic apart from the slip on can so wouldnt really make any difference

On a pointy the air intake is on the front of the air box so I can't see these doing anything more than a bit of styling, but if the info I'm picking up is right then the intake on a curvy is on top of the air box, so at illegal speeds you might get a bit of ram-air effect.
This is unless you are running a pointy with a modified air box lid... |

Spacers help with air circulating through easier so maybe you can get hot air out of there faster. Same reason you have holes in side fairing, so hot air can exit. |
