They suck. Each lens has 2 vertical lines of LEDs, one red and one amber. When the lights are on it's fine but when you indicate, the reds and ambers on the relevant side alternate like a frickin Christmas tree. Tacky. I prefer the originals tbh.

The brightness and size of these things are not the best either . I have struggled to see similar bikes (always seem to be Z1000s) with this type of undertray on

Another one are the so known integrated rear light/indicators rubbish.
I must be very safety unconscious then, my CBR600 doesn't have any lights, brake lights, mirrors or indicators at all

Well I just hope and pray you make correct usage of hand signals.

Is that not an issue with your electrics, rather than with the lights themselve? An LED only lights up when it has power, so christmas tree lights, must mean christmas tree wiring/electrics.

You'd probably find that if you plugged the standard bulbs back in they'd do exactly the same thing, unless it's caused by some kind of current/resistance issue, which should then be fixable.

I'm no electrics expert, just blaming on the light unit doesn't seem to make sense to me.

Ralph, he's talking about the integrated brake/position and indicators so there are no separate indicators. They do look a bit silly IMO.

I realise its an intergrated unit, but I thought he was was saying whilst the amber LEDs flash the red LEDs go out. Is that how those are supposed to work? I'd have thought the red should stay lit all the time, just like separate indicators.

I've followed an SV and a GSXR with that style of tail light fitted and that is how they looked to me to work.

Either the red dims when the amber comes on or the reds go out completely.

Incidently thats how the front running lights on our Audi behave, I noticed a while ago, when you indicate the corresponding running light dims.

i.e. if you indicate left the front left running light dims whilst the indicator is on. I guess for the same reason.
