Thousands of job cuts here, and we give all these foreigners a bloody fortune.

Theres lies damned lies and statistics.
Cant see a date on those figures but they look about a year old to me,the givaway being "predictions" for 2010.
Allowing for that,they actually show that spending/borrowing trends have been heading consistantly in a certain direction for decades,with blips and anomalies showing up for major international events like two world wars,a depression or two and an oil crisis.The latest economic downturn has also thrown the economic analysis into turmoil.But surely there is nothing new here that we are not all too painfully aware of?GB ltd has been running at a loss for most of our lifetimes,and things aint getting any better.
