I was doing 20mph the force broke my right wrist 45deg and kept throttle open and directed me to the other cars
that just sounds nassty and scary. poor fella, good jobs he's alive but quite a few injuries he's got there.

20 not a tad fast for overtaking stationary traffic? I'm usually in the 10-15 region. Probably wouldn't have made much difference, sounds like got taken clean out, but would have hurt less. Long queues of stationary traffic = frustrated car drivers, and all you need is the one plonker who's in a rush and decides to do a U turn to take some other route - peeved off, frustrated and wanna get somewhere quick, not gonna think, 'oh leme check my blindspot, they're might be a motorbike'.

But 10 for landing it neatly stacked on the pallet.

Glad he's already thinking of his next bike

He said he was doing 20, and if the throttle were open for any amount of time in a low gear he may have accelerated an important amount, but the really important factor is how fast, and in exactly what direction whatever he hit was travelling.
