Definately something up with that...as others have said, a full power SV will do ~130 (indicated).

How is the power delivery up before 90?

When I ride with my mates, on a long straight when I know they are going to pin it, I can keep up just fine til around 70-80 I think (must admit I'm not really looking at the speed then), but after that they zoom off (GSXR600)

mine starts to loose the punch at about 110 then i get scared at 130 but dont think it has got much more than that ... but 90 it should deffo hit!

Perhaps restricted .... could this be a carb balancing issue?

Nah balancing only really affects tickover and low speed, does not matter if they are a bit out at WFO, maybe a little more vibration but no power difference.

My Curvy saw 140mph on Bruntingthorpes 2 mile straight
In reality though it was probably more like a real 120mph.

Most I have had is 135 indicated. That was 2 up downhill on a very long straight

Sounds like what i say about my restricted bike.

Good to 90...anything above that takes a gust of wind or a favourable gradient! :P

That's good going. I was coming out of the then turn 2, hitting the power and redlining before changing gear and with head behind the screen, elbows and knees snug on the tank I don't think I went any faster than 122mph!! Perhaps if I carried more speed into the corner I could have got more (and braked later into the chicane type bit).
