Buggar. Sorry to hear about this.
As said previously, they've clearly had alot of practice, it took me and a mate an hour to "steal" his own bike, after he lost his keys and we needed to get home.
Hope things dont take to much fixing, and I hope these little sods have an accident.

Well now if they were gonna nick it, they could have done a full job and taken it...sparing you the expensive mess to sort out

May I suggest you start carrying a large bity dog in your top box, and leave it tied up to the bike, instead of leaving your S4 under a street light?

Grrrr, p1ssed off for ya Mark, how angry you must be. As DB says, they could at least have had the balls to do the job properly and not leaving you to pick up the pieces I guess the good thing is you've not lost the bike completely. And there was me thinking this year was going to be a much better one for you compared to last

At least it wasn't the Superduke!

B*stards. May their balls turn square and fester on the corners.

I try to be careful about using disc lock if I'm leaving it at all out of sight.

Wouldn't the movement sensor in the alarm have gone off when they broke the steering lock?

Thieving Scrotes, I hope they get what they deserve asap, at least the damage is repairable by you and they didn't make a worse mess of it.

Thanks guys (and girls), soldered up and heat shrunk the ignition loom today and picked up the switch gear and handlebars, I'll fit those tomorrow, and that should do for now, I'll finish it properly in a couple of weeks time when the Superduke comes back on the road.

Cheers Mark.
