Your son right you'd cry if you binned custard. Buy a cheap as chips one to track and build off that.

How much you get for you FZR then?

As captain of the shinydownpipeclub, and indeed chairmen of the sub comittee of the yellow SV shiny downpipe, I shall have to make recommendations to eject you from the board, if you even contemplate putting Custard on the track.....

Sold the Fizzer for £500. It was as sound as a pound, ran like a sewing machine & never let me down. The bodywork wasn't up to much, but the rest of the bike was goodo

I wouldn't give my black SV away for that...maybe about a grand!
I knows its only cosmetic, and a bit of handy work will make it right again, but even the repair costs wouldn't depreciate it to such a rock bottom price.

I think Mister C is a master dandy highwayman, perhaps he needs to borrow my **** Turpin cloak and pistol! I thought I got a bargain when I got my Leo Vince pipes...but a whole 750 quid fer a SV1000.....!!!

Yep, does happen sometimes, just not where I'm concerned with buying bikes.

Mate got a VFR800 or 750 for £800, which I would also have been happy with too
