Still very much an amateur but getting there...chance to play with my new zoom lens
Canon 450d with Sigma 500mm, manual focus using live view x10 digital zoom, manual mode (ISO100, 1/60, f/8), tripod, 2 second timer

Taken in 2008, not last night
Canon 40d with 100-400L (640mm 35mm equiv), Image then converted to black and white

Also due to the moons proximity the largest tides for the year have been predicted for tomorrow, which means ill be out on the river lune with the jetski
