what is the advantage of adjusting the front sprocket instead of the rear?

For one its cheaper to buy a front sprocket than a rear

you need to change 3 teeth approx on the rear but only one on the front for the same difference. just a matter of space on the cog. main change on the front final adjustment on the back.
