Haha I shall take that in to consideration as I will be biking all year round.

Found out about the weight difference today, I pulled out on to a main road and stalled it turning right, looked like a right d*ck but managed to somehow hold the weight up at the same time as trying to hold myself up! Still trying to get used to the 2 or 3 finger clutch/brake lever.... thats my excuse anyway.

Good choice of bike. I haven't tried a new un but the old ones are probably most deceptive thing I've ridden, "oh this feels to pick it's feet up a bit" then you glance down and see yourself doing unmentionable speeds that a big comfy bike shouldn't be so easily capable of!

Mine is the 2006 gen 2, I know what you mean about twisting and then looking down, I did that on Saturday and won't mention the speed when I looked down...
