Why did you raise the rear in the first place C? I've always run with the stock K3 rear subframe, which is a little higher than later models and it works perfectly. I certainly didnt see any need to go higher.

I thought the bike had gone round cadwell in 1.39 or something? There can't be anything fundamentally wrong with it.
I've come to the conclusion that you're an incurable fiddler carl and you'd really enjoy a class like the supertwins or streetfighter class where you get free reign to modify and bodge away. Minitwins just need some minor modifications then thrashed mercilessly until they die.
Not what seems to ring your bell IMHO.

I didn't, the previous owner did. And ironically (Gordon) this is a modification that needs un-modifying.

I just need the compressed seat height as a measurement. The std seat height for the pointy is 800mm but how much does the seat quash by with a bloke on it? 50mm?

the seat or the shock? There isnt 50mm of seat to squash on mine. Stock seat is just fine.

Seat. Once you sit on a stadnard seat it squishes. I've got rock had foam on mine so I want to set it so its the same as a squished std seat.

ok, there's very little 'squish' on a standard seat. Just checked mine for you and it wouldnt squish more than about 10mm I reckon.
