i`ll check the battery lou but tbh it never pops on tickover and always has loads of cranking power however i have noticed a small drip of petrol when the bike is first turned off so i dont know if that has anything to do with anything.

My bike pops and burps on the over run tis normal, never on idle tho

right underneath it be dripping from but does not do it for long only a few drips.

Strange place to drip from. Not from breather pipe then?

yeah possibly but no big deal as it`s only now and again,more noticeable when the tanks fullish so yes probably a breather.

well i got the bike on the paddock stand today to drop the oil (castrol gtx in asda 5l for £6,damaged bottle)and after changing the oil i started the bike and found the exhaust blowing quite a lot from the joint where the clamp is missing from right underneath so i guess that is where it`s popping from so would you recommend me putting exhaust sealant on the pipe around the joint before i tighten the clamp up?.

Hang on... isn't Castrol GTX for cars?

i bloody hope not lol,but it was 10w40 semi synth so i assumed it`s all the same.if not i`ll just drop it and put something else in but i cant see it being an issue.
