My only remedy for man flu is Scotch and Ginger Ale. Keep it flowing until the flu disappears. Not too much mind you just enough to keep you mellow. In fact Scotch and Ginger works for just about any ailment, at least it does for me.
I think I feel a cold coming on, time for a nightcap!

Spent most of the night trying to get to sleep and finally got up after waking the Mrs.
If only I'd read this before I took some pain killers for my knee (doh!).

I'm sniffling today, I blame on the fact I don't bother with a coat in the morning because by the time rolls around to go home it'll be flippin' 'ot outside and I'll just need to carry it around.

But yes, hongman, strong liquor. Make a hot toddy and booze yourself into oblivion.

Well this morning I feel a bit better. Still very achy, a bit shivery, and my throat feels like it has knives in it though.

Hoping by end of play today I shall be all better, thanks for all your support haha.

Oh, and I'm allergic (for lack of a better word) to alcohol, so no easy way out for me

Ice cream, then. Don't watch daytime TV, though, it'll just make you sicker.

I am suffering more today.
My stomache is so dodgy I have to go into another room to pass gas in fear of making myself sick if I do it where I'm sitting. My nose is completely blocked and I think I've gone deaf because of it. Im freezing cold and I ache too.

Just eaten two massive oranges to try and perk myself up!

Another victim here, wasn't ill during the winter despite all around me having bugs & colds.

Why is it always on my day off, haven't taken a sickie at work in ages
