I put the screws through the sink , then sling tap washers on the back before screwing them to the wall , saves cracking the buggers when tightening

TBH in most cases i use the fischer sink fixings, they are brilliant, 10mm studs sticking out the wall, plastic top hat washers stop over tightening.
Ive fitted hundreds of sinks with these, best way imo. |

Both of those brackets probably wiegh more than the screen. Just get a basic lightwieght bracket and use the Drylining finxings that someone else said and you'll be fine.
