Heres an idea for you - Rattle-can Spraying "courses".

Obviously some of the skills from doing it properly carry over to using rattle cans, so whu not do training for people on basics like prep, priming, colour-sanding, all aimed at people using rattle-can jobs on their own bikes.

I am sure that there are people who would pay a few quid to come to you and in a group class, learn these skills.

Ok so its not spraying, but if you charged even £20/head, class-size of 5, for a 4 hour lesson, then thats £25/hour in your pocket. Just have a "materials you should bring" list, or on top of the tuition fee, sell a kit of stuff.

People may not have the £50 to get a bit sprayed, but will have the £20 to learn how to do it themself.

Wouldnt be losing business, as the people who will DIY with rattle-cans, probably wouldn't pay you to do it properly anyway.

Maybe a new thread or a poll added to this one to find out if anyone would be interested?

I put some more scatches ont he SV the other day getting it out of the garden. However, it would be cheaper for me to get a can of paint and respray the fairing.

I would love mine doing again, but its getting on a bit and all it would do is make all the other bits look even more tatty than they are. I would like it in very dark blue with a silver clear coat and a lime green nose (Well change from the signal orange that it is

I think Rory is a bit far from me for this but in principle i'd be straight in there for something like this... in fact for a 4 hour session i probably would make the trip and meet some peeps at the same time! Where do i sign?

I was thinking of getting someone to paint my CBR600 race/trackbike properly, but I think I may just do it with rattle cans because I just know it's going to end up adorning a gravel-trap some time in the near future.
