I'll be leaving Friday during the day sometime, but as of yet no idea on route/pace/company.
Bit weather dependant too, like most of its really crap I'll just slog it on the mway. But if it is nice I want a brisk pace on some nice roads. I'll probably meet (Boreham?) Sally and whoever else (Mr & Mrs LPH? is EssexDave coming?) from round this way to ride to the designated meeting point if nothing else and decide from there. Can sort closer to the time, I want to get over the GM first! |

Its usual for the Soho Massive to meet up at The Ace for breakfast then head off from there, its not a long way to the bottom of the M1 from The Ace.
If I don't go up early I intend on following this trend. Last time we went up we had a split in the group about Sheffield with the more experienced riders going for a brisk ride over Snake Pass, the rest of us heading on up the M1 some more, this is possibly the better way of doing things. I believe that "just getting there" by motorway is the better plan than finding interesting routes, its a long enough trip there anyway, and it seems longer on the way back, so "utility" riding to get there and saving the "pleasure" riding for the Ride-out is probably the better way of doing things, especially if there are new riders in the group. Thats just my thoughts, and in no way constitutes an offer to organise anything - if I am on form I will arrive at the meeting point with just enough time to say hello before setting off (despite a plan to have had breakfast etc)

We may well try and meet you all somewhere en route as the Ace takes us out of our way.

We can't attend this year as we're a little busy for the next couple of months
![]() We've only done one AR so far and I arrived in the car with the fur kids, whist James rode the bike. May be able to come next year though ![]() |

What I meant was that rather than heading all the way into London to the Ace, then out again, we may see if we can meet you somewhere just outside the M25 on the road to ooop north. You'll be telling everyone next they have to ride an SV to an SV AR ![]()
