Peak train tickets cost more, so consider travelling as early as possible and then catch up on your sleep enroute. I've done that when I went to Glasgow, slept from Cardiff to Crewe, a bit more from Crewe to Glasgow, was *mostly* rested by the time I got there. 4am train from Cardiff, though.

Trust me, went to London for St. Patricks day to meet some Irish 'friends'.
England hates me, I hate London. Can't cope with it being that busy and sooo many people. Girls are nice though. |

Wow, just google mapped it. 460 miles! Driving that after 2 days with no sleep would be just the job!!
If it's a dedicated bus to GG then I would take that, I used to take busses to raves all the time and the journey can be good fun, especially if you get sat next to someone nice
