This wont cure you're fear of the gravel but it'll give you the confidence and techinique of how to deal with it when it crops up out there on the roads.

Paulo, Im thinking of a saying, sounds a lot like "Y Tooled ewe sew" lol, glad you had a wicked time... one step closer to the drz then eh?

There are loads of these places around, a quick google for any atv/enduro training centres should bring up a few.

Thanks chap. Good write up. Need to save some pennies for a day out like this. I didn't do anything for my 30th last year (buying a house and all) and have been skint ever since. I think I deserve a belated 30th birthday prezzie.

I did one of the basic road courses a few years back and even with years of riding experiance still learnt things! Brilliant day and better still work paid for it

The main i2i mca link in op?

....

6 Months since I did the course now, I've had a few minor moments (gsxr fishtailed during a wet overtake, bit of a slippy sensation when it was frosty last week & last night on a dusty spot when filtering off a roundabout & the back slid about 6") where I would have panicked & then cried for about a week due to being scared silly. But having done the off road day I understood exactly what the bike was doing, why it was doing it, not to get involved while it sorted itself out, and then carrying on my way unflusterred whilst being mindful that it could happen again in the conditions & to adjust my riding accordingly (change my line/go easier on the throttle etc).

Still can't recommend enough

always looks cooler if you slide the rear a little bit unintentionally but dont look fazed and just carry on. If you panic and throw your feet down, you look like a child without stabilisers
