'spose there'll be fewer runaway weddings if Blacksmiff is moonlighting making that?

You call it art?

If I put that or similar on the street I would be arrested for dumping it. Why do we allow and even pay so called artists to put a pile of worthless rubbish on streets and expect rate payer to fund it, maintain it and eventually dispose of it.

I know I have no soul

Well, he wouldn't go East ( --> Yorkshire ) and now not North.
Only a couple more & he'll be housebound!

how else are the councils supposed to spend the cash they rape from us?

your not suggesting that they use it to better our services or go towards the schools are you. now that would be stupid, as then our council tax would come down or we would have cleaners streets and intelligent kids. get a grip mr wilky

I've read this thread three times and still cannot think of anything positive about it. Its a pity you couldn't "borrow" the angel.

That's from that Einstein bloke, and he was dead clever.

Aye. Very good. Another great idea D+G. How about making the road surfaces safe before shoving a stupid bit of metal at the side of the road? Oh wait. That would be a sensible idea. Ooooooor!!! You could sort out the NHS, SAS (ambulance not men with masks and guns), Police forces and Fire brigades. But no. Let's cut the numbers of frontline emergancy service workers (including Dr and Nurses in this) and shove a great big FECK OFF bit of metal at the side of the stupid twonking road.

I agree with MBK sentiments

but where does it say that D&G are actually paying for it.??

The 'art' in Cumbernauld has been paid for by European Funding and the council just gave the land.
Is this going to be a similar thing I wonder.
