Clear plastic film does the same thing----have a good look at a Porsche,many have it on the bonnet and rear wheel arches.
They will be inventing something like a snow plough to fit on the front of the bonnet to keep flies off the screen next.---

why dont we just laminate all our cars and bikes so they are fully protected. ooorrrr if you cant afford that, try cling film

What I want to know is why the completely tasteless stickered up fake skyline down the road has posts holding the bonnet up.
Now i can understand the funny bonnet bra things, protecting from stone chips etc ....but if you have the bonnet permanently up, doesn't it make the rain pour in?
