Love the 360 pic. Long time since I seen the inside of Concorde. Used to work @ Duxford Museum, always in and out of the exhibits.

That gave me a headache just looking at it. Tough job being a pilot!

It's a hard thing to fly in MS Flight Sim, you have to pump fuel between three tanks to balance it depending on what you're doing. Often I'd screw up (too much fuel) and just be too heavy to break the sound barrier.

What an awesome machine.

When they designed that they didn't even have an electronic calculator to do their 'sums' on, let alone a PC. The lack of emails and crap probably gave them time to get on with the job though! It's a bit like wondering how the ancients built Stonehenge.

Check out the cutouts in the seats, must have been to accomodate their massive balls!

Fun fact about the Concorde: If it flew much faster, it would melt. In fact, the whole thing would expand dramatically at supersonic speed. A gap would appear behind the flight engineer's console and the bulkhead during this expansion, and during the last supersonic flight of each plane, the engineers would place their hats into this gap to be enclosed when the plane slowed down and the gap closed as the airframe cooled.

I've actually been on it in flight and I got to go in the cockpit! Seen it, been there!
