Don't worry about it being too loud...Loud cans save lives.
Kates exhaust is VERY stubbied, leaks a little (due to my attempt at stubbying a very battered can) and is VERY loud, and it goes through the MOT every year, and she has never been pulled on it! ![]() Regards |

I was thinking about £60 for the can + post It's got a little ding near the badge and the strap has marked it but other than that its a quite unique little can, mainly because it was a sod to do because of the internal pipework... I've not seen another one of these stubbied myself.
See the exhaust re-sleeve thread to see more pics and a vid. http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=169361 Edit, the lever is in the post, gave it a clean and a spot of red grease in the pivot. Last edited by Stonesie; 14-09-11 at 01:17 PM. |

Get some good ear plugs, they'll protect your ears from wind noise too.

I never used to use them, and often found myself with ringing ears or not being able to hear conversations properly. Now, I never ride without plugs or headphones unless it is in the city centre/popping to shops etc.
The recon that even short periods of time at reasonable speeds causes permanent damage to the fine hairs in your ears. You may not notice it for a very long time, but eventually you will, and it is irreversible. Tinitus is not fun, take it from me! |

In which case, get better plugs, then the only people you will annoy, are the cage drivers that you wake up as you pass them! LOL
