Tbh, i dont think i will again, Bottom line is i dont think they are competitive enough on price, never made a claim with them and cant really fault their service yet, but times are hard.

Express Insurance, used them for 5 years straight, and can't fault them. Second bike costs about 30 quid extra.

I went online to Carol Nash's site for a dual bike quote. Don't accept it as they will call you & offer you a cheaper option. I saved over £50 on mine. I worked out that the SV only cost me £55 extra fully comp for 12 months

Not even sure if i want to try Carol Nash. Last time i got an online quote from them, they rang me 13 times in 4 days, each time whilst i was at work and couldnt answer the phone. Got to call no.14 and managed to answer. It was for a quote that was 4x any other quote i had been given and then they tried to blame me for them ringing so much.
But might try calling them instead, maybe then i wont get harassed after getting the quote.

start using the mcn compaire site and thebikeinsurer
see the best deals with the company you like then ring up and push for a better deal. i saved about £200 with both bikes and a load of extras i hope to never use so is worth the time.

admiral do do the same for bikes I believe, just remember to get individual quotes aswell as dual for each provider - I found insuring seperately would have been much cheaper. I have a feeling however (also think this may have been admiral) told me that for some unexplainable reason they could only offer dual bike policies to over 25s. could have been carole nash actually.

Yeh, think that has been mentioned before about the age limit. Will look into it as i contact each insurer.
Does seem strange though that you say it would have been cheaper to insure separately

I know I'm an old bugger, but I only have 3 years NCB after writing my old SV off & I had a quote off them for the 955 & SV for just over £265 fully comp. My Triumph alone from another company was more than that, so it was definitely worth doing

Just a warning. If you use the MCN comparison site, put in a fake contact number - 01234 567890 or similar. Or someone you hate. Otherwise you will be inundated with cold, frequently silent, calls from some broker in Wellingborough. It p1ssed me off so much I eventually saved the number as "Some Insurance T0sser" in my phone so I knew who it was when they called.

http://www.phonespamfilter.co.uk/sea...3351680?skip=1

http://www.hondahornet.org.uk/messag...hp?f=4&t=19908

to give just three other examples of how annoying it can be.

On a lighter note, Wifey and I used Bike Team. Some of the underwriters they use offer multibike policies and some don't. She managed to get the Monster and her old VanVan on the same policy but the underwriter on my SV wouldn't have done the same. Definitely worth asking though.

Bikesure is what I use.

Got a second policy for the XJ alongside my SV one, not the same policy but they took into account my NCB with them and it was about 50% cheaper than taking out a policy elsewhere.
