On a mates bike they do heat up quite quickly as they are having to 'dump' around 40 watt's of energy as heat (the relay expects 42 watts of load), although he does have Ebay cheepys fitted and seperate resistors with 'made in china' on them... Must have a look at my own LED indicator setup, not had the bike long.

Edit, Found a little box zip tied to an intake tube with 'LED flasher unit' written on it, no resistors here.

I'll let you know Sunday when I try fit them if the post gets here in time they do look well made so fingers crossed.

Also on a side note I was thinking of getting ones for the back too but matey of mine suggested getting a small number plate first.. Now I know these may not be 100% legal however has anyone been stopped for having them? And where would I get them from?

George

Yep, Stu got pulled in Wales on the AR10 rideout and got a fixed penalty notice.

Can't see the point myself,

Not worth risk in reducing the size of the plate. But it is worth changing the indicators. I did all four of mine and sold the old ones for 9.99 each on fleebay. £40 quid back paid for the new flashers
