He told them he wasn't ordering anything, then he said nothing more and they gave him the food.

I guess it's fraud maybe, he obtained something by deception?

Surely they'll have his reg on CCTV, thats assuming they figure out how they c0ck3d up and report a crime though.
Non, c'est tout bon

A major store was once successfully sued after a bin diver got food poisoning from eating something from their bin. They now cover all waste food in a bright blue smelly dye.

So bin diving seems OK if your happy to eat food that could be contaminated, I wouldn't call it theft as I assume it is only done by people that are in need of food unlike the driver in video.

Yeah its theft if you actually think about the theft act and what it says, under UK law. If your hungry don't get caught eh!
"The ordinary defendant who finds property apparently abandoned on the street may not be dishonest if there are no serial numbers or marks that would help to identify the owner. Note that to be abandoned, the owner must have intended to give up all rights in the property and not to pass those rights to another. For example, material discarded in a rubbish bin is not abandoned. The owner intends another to come, empty the bin and dispose of the property without stealing it in the process. Hence, it will be theft to remove any property from a bin or legal disposal site."

Nicked from Wikipedia. As for the video, no question about it. Straightforward deception.
