So the conclusions we can draw from the poll is:
Suzuki did make a good bike, then they ruined it with the pointy, so much so that people got rid of them for triumphs? |

Nah Dave, the pointy owners are out riding them, whilst the curvy owners are at home fixing them hence have access to the computer and this poll

I'd actually be genuinely interested in why people voted the way that they did.
I have not riden a curvy - I just prefer the look of the pointy - the curvy looks so dated to me. I'd be interested to know if there were any mechaincal or usability reasons why one is better than the other. |

For me it just meant seized choke plungers and jets to be cleared out. I'm suspicious that the dreaded reg/rec failure is less common on pointy's too but thank's to the law of sod's am sure I'll be disproved.

I voted for Curvy, and I'm glad to see it's winning, but part of me thinks it's because most of us are too poor to afford newer bikes.

I did have a pointy, and now have a curvy. It has a better gearbox, smoother engine, feels faster (although I assume gearing) and is a pleasure to ride.
Also £1,000 a year cheaper to insure. |
