Thank y'all! I added a profile picture of my ride so hopefully it'll start showing up. Kentucky has some great back roads. I'm originally from the Appalachian (south east) part of the state and there are some great, challenging and more-than-slightly dangerous roads there. Black Mountain might give the "tail of the dragon" a run for the money. Two lane roads in varying conditions snake around and over the mountains and through the somewhat functioning remains of old coal-camp towns. You have to dodge coal trucks, ATVs, pill-snorting check-drawing lunatics, dogs and chickens. There are two H-D dealerships in that area so that's what most people ride. I now live in Central Kentucky (known as the Bluegrass) and it's more flat with lots of beautiful horse farms and country back roads. Fewer hazards too! We have a yearly rally in Sturgis, KY (called the "Little Stugis" rally) which is in the Western part of the state. Lexington only has three dealerships: H-D, KTM, and one that sells Suzuki, Triumph, Honda, Yamaha, Ducati and the occasional Kawasaki. Good to be on here, look forward to reading (and learning from) the posts from fellow SV owners. Cheers!!

I will be in town tomorrow. I may dodge the dogs but I'm going straight through the chickens!
