Snap his hand off I got my faired curvy for a price I couldn't refuse too, and it had next to no miles on it (for a bike of its age) and I love it to bits. Expect it was converted to the naked version for convenience and looks hehe.

I rode my YBR125 for a year before getting my test done but I would have done it sooner had I been able to afford. As it was, I'm glad I rode the 125 for as long as I did, it made me appreciate the SV so much more, bigger, better, more powerful and predictable with it too, all great factors for a first bike.

Get up some pictures when it's yours

Great bikes, you can tour, track, commute, pootle or just have fun!

They're so good I bought my old one back!

"My first big bike" is what SV650s do best.

Unless you can find a decent RGV250, anyway.

Thanks for all the replies.
The bike is a '99 T-reg naked. 11k miles, pristine condition, £1200.
I know the current owner, who has had the bike for the last few years, so I am pretty confident that it's sound.

New brakes all round, 12 months MOT etc...
Even has a belly pan, screen and can.
You can see why I have snapped his hand off!

Enjoy that last bit while you can - as a new rider you will* fall off at some point. It's not really yours until you've bodged it together with gaffer tape for the first time.

* five times in a fortnight in my case - I was 17 and invincible. Until the fifth one, anyway. Then I was just 17.

Does not removing your disc lock count as a fall ?
