Ok here is the gen

Carby - Put inj inlet cam into carby inlet. Move Carby inlet cam to exhaust. I got 10bhp gain with BMC filter(dyno'd)

Inj - Keep Inj Inlet cam in inlet. Put Carby inlet into exhaust. Reported as 2bhp gain

If you're minitwinning as far as I know you'd have to keep both cams in the stock position.

Absolutely no reason why you couldn't do a straight swap like for like.

Injected might run a touch rich with them though, maybe.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for this....but I'm still not 100% sure about the exhaust side.

Using Injection Inlet cams in the carby is a given, not sure why I can't use the exhaust cams as well?

If I can use exhaust cams from the injection will it give the same results as using the old carby inlets as exhausts?

I would then like to fit the carby inlet/exhaust in the injection, as long as it runs OK I'll be happy.....I'm not looking for performance as it's just used for commuting.

Sorry to be a pain to everyone...but I want to get it right!!

Thanks
Sam

Do the normal pointy cam swap on your curvy, will get you 4bhp or so. Then you will be able to use what you've got left on the pointy, yeah losing a bit of power but who cares to pootle to work.

There are other parts you can swap too to gain a bit
