Anyone got preferences on time or place? Also, who wants to come? =) This is being arranged mainly so I know a few people before the Normandy trip. Plus a new thread means I'm not tarnishing Phil's Normandy one =)

As I said in the other thread, I'd be up for it. Solihull is easier for me but given I'm already there I think I'd be by far travelling the least distance, so I'm happy with Brum if that's easier for other people (public transport, last train home, etc). I'd feel bad dragging Fallen over from Northampton to Birmingham for a beer though, I suggested this date because I happen to be in Brum already and at a loose end. Convenient for me is not a reason to drag Fallen over from Northants

So I'll sit back and let Fallen arrange this and if other people want to go, and he wants to do it, he can tell me where and when.

As in the previous thread, chances are I'll be alrite for a pint on Saturday, Solihull isnt too far away so im happy to meet there.

I'm happier with Solihull as I'm possiy going to be coming from further south but seeing as I've never been to Solihull I'd need some pub recommendations? I really don't mind travelling to Brum if it's whats easiest for the majority though. I'm free all day that day so maybe early afternoon as a rough time guide?

Can you get public transport to Solihull or would you be driving/riding?

I would be driving (or riding depending on the weather). I live too far from a train station to make it worth while putting up with public transport.

I can't do until about 8 in the evening I'm afraid. My Mum isn't well, so whilst she is fine to babysit, I need to get my son bathed and ready for bed before I can come out.
