Yeah, you should always crouch when doing pull ups as doing them in a standing position tends to make you sway and cheat

I assume you have no overlooking neighbours? If you do can I suggest you buy some curtains??
In the dungeon, sorry, basement of our office we have a good size in-house gym complete with Nuffield Health sadists, sorry, trainers. £2 a month membership which is pretty good value for money. Not helping am I?

My home gym
Chin up bar 10kg dumbells Sit up mat ![]() I also have a 24" box for box jumps. I do 4 high intensity circuits a week, a lot of chin ups/pull ups press ups squats etc etc etc One circuit a week is all plyometric. Also 1 sprint session and one 10k run a week. Works for me.

Did you look on eBay first?
My sister got a multi gym off eBay for £100, admittedly not one that cost that much new but it's pretty good with all the attachments. I just find gyms boring, used to be really into them in my younger days, 5 days a week x 3 hours a night for 6 months I did at one point. Good place to meet girls too ![]() |

I agree about over doing weights, I wasnt getting enough recovery time.
I used to hold my own against some big guys at the gym, which wasn't bad for a 17-18 year old ![]() I disagree about some multi gyms, some have some good weights on them, unless you're going after a power lifting medal at the games it should be ok for most. But, you get what you pay for generally. |
