Battlefield 3 campaign is very short.
On line its got allot of followers .
Tried the demo of Mass 3.
Not going to get it till its £20

Started battlefield 3, just past the fighter jet bit so not far into it at all.

Battlefield 3 lasted me about 12 hours
Was a bit let down by it really..

Re doing the train bit realy ground my gears.

Battlefield 3 is only worth getting if you intend to play on PC, online. Singleplayer is cack on all platforms, multiplayer is cack on console (not enough players)

It's ok if you don't mind squading up with the US kids and play Rush.
Mind you team work there an't.

Rush mode on console *just about* disguises the fact there's only a max of 12 players per side. On Conquest maps it's like a ghost town.

Still huge issues with connections/squads being seperated as they join games/unlocks.

Battlefeild for me and the odd bit of cod black ops for a laugh but personally Battlefield on a good day with your mates etc.. all go on and find a good lobby can be a blast on console but i do know what you mean about ghost town had it few days back where it was 4 on 4 on rush at 11 at night normally thats just about when the chubby yanks get on and play so was a bit anoyed gave up and went on Forza 4 now thats a good game

O ye Mass effect not my cuppa not into sci fi if thats what it is not even played halo. played GOW once and thought about killing myself stick to my sim games

It's not just a FPS, it's also an RPG. On the PC you can have more of the FPS or switch so that you have more of the RPG.
At the moment i'm level 25 and about half way through.

1. yes 3 options of how to play it, fps, rpg or combo (traditional ME gameplay)
2. No i imported my saved character from ME2 no prob. You also get the choice to change your character selection, soldier sentinel etc

It seemed to start a bit slowly with very few side missions. Think this is because they have tailored it for newbies as well as those who have played the other 2. Not quite as good as ME2 imho but not much in it.
