I used to own a BSA Airsporter in .22, took the stock off it and custom shaped it to the shape of my hand then took it down to the bare wood and stained it to a lovely walnut colour, bought a really good tele sight and it was good to go, was going to blue the barrel but never got round to it, lovely bit of kit that was mmmmmm wheres me credit card ?

No mate, too tight for that but TBH it hasn't needed it. I'm getting single figure deviations across 50 shot strings over the chrono (4fps) just shy of 12ft/lb using bismags. 10 shot groups @ 30 yards are just over 1/4" across centres. It's proven very useful in the field and has accounted for more than it's share of bunnies and stockies.

I always wanted the R10, but couldn't afford it. I have a Falcon Prairie in .177 with a Hawke Map Pro scope.

Many bunnies later and I love it.

Nothing wrong with Falcons Pete, I used to own an FN12 Raptor but sold it because it was the wrong calibre for me. I'm pretty much a died in the wool .177 man myself. The R10 believe it or not was an impulse buy. I only went in the shop for a couple of tins of pellets.................Bloody expensive pellets they turned out to be.
