Yup, 2,500 is the average intake to maintain your weight in line with activity levels. Obviously if you do more you eat more. If you do less (in theory) your calorie intake should be reduced in line with this.

So no deep fried mars bars or trips to Anstruther Chippy twice a week!

I too fell off the wagon. The wife had bought (against my orders) a pack of 4 snickers and I found them. So I had one

And then the other 3.

Back to the cross trainer.

fell off the wagon! I eat that before I get on the wagon lol. they have put the national average up now to 3,000 kcals. I do eat a lot of crap but run and have an active job. Little things like 1 sugar instead of 2 in brew makes a difference as you dont think of the calories in a brew do you lol
