7x5 on the FZ1.

Been pulled over and fined £30 for a noisy exhaust and at the same time told to change the plate otherwise next time it will be a find for that to.

Big plates are too....... Big.

I've recently got a new standard plate as the old 7x5 was a bit worse for wear. I also have a tail tidy but it fits on ok and is at a bit of an angle. TBH you don't see the plate when you are riding so who cares if it looks too big.

I've had a 7x5 plate on the bike of my SV for the past couple of months and haven't had any problems so far.

Standard plate, but it has no markings other than my reg. Not sure if that is legal or not to be honest.

Is there points involved if the plate and digits/letters are small?

I ran a 7x5 show plate for a while after struggling to get a plate to fit, looked boss....

Until I got pulled a couple of days later!
