They're a bit long in the tooth now so you might not be able to find them, but the old Metzler Z6 was awesome for durability. Recently replaced by a Z8 which has similar characteristics Im told. Could say myself though as I havent ridden the new Z8

Conti motion. They are cheap, last long, and quite sticky. They are not dual compound but are harder in the middle due to their method of heating in the different sectors. Love them.

Spot on.
Almost no one who offers an opinion will have ridden on a significant portion of the rubber available, in a back to back scenario. Almost all tyre reviews are a little biased by lovely fresh rubber going on in place of squared off worn tyres. Get a sports touring tyre from a manufacturer you've heard of and you'll be covered from touring to track days. What fantastic times we live in ![]() Jambo

My local shop (Ian Bells at Bedlington) tell me the Motion has succeeded the Road Attack. I have Road Attacks on now and they have been very good.
Have to get a new front on within the next week so will see.

Michelin road pilot 3 or Avon storm 2.
As the guys have said it's hard to find a bad tyre yes but you can find ones that fit your needs closer. I have RP3's and have covered over 4k miles and still have loads of life. Super grippy in the wet and good in the dry. I will consider storms when the RP's wear out but if the price is close i'll stick with them. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 |

My Metzeler Z6's are still going strong, even after 2 track days. I'd go for Z8's after having these
But like NTECUK says hard to find a rubbish tyre these days, thank goodness.
