Funnily enough, Dylan took Oli pillion on an arcade bike over the week, he loved it, so I think we might have to find a bike for him too soon!

The PW might be a bit small for Dylan

Well I had a little chat with the local Yamaha dealer this morning and got him to check the frame number and its an early PW from 1981 and seemingly was destined for Australia

And so the strip down begins...

Plans are to strip it back to the frame and repaint it although I might get it powder coated but then I'll probably need to replace the head bearings etc and of course it's extra cost

Spent an hour or so stripping the PW some more until I was left with this

The pile for powder coating

Back wheel and engine and front forks

And all the other bits

The piston looks ok, with no scoring etc. not sure about the little dimple in the centre of it though, but I do remember the seller saying he had it rebored and a new piston fitted

Looks like its been drilled. You redoing the exhaust too or getting a new one?
