Stopped at the Red Lodge transport Caff in 1982 on the way from Norwich to the Status Quo XX tour at the NEC. As the place is now bypassed by the A11 I didn't realise it was still going. Got to be better than The World Famous (sic) Comfort Cafe which was truly aweful on the one time we stopped there.

I'll do my very best to join any ride outs where I can.

I'm currently commuting, when weather permits, from Norwich to the Birmingham area and back 2 - 3 times a month, so wandering over to Red Lodge or similar is a non issue.

btw, which part of the army are/were you in? Quite a few of my Fijian friends are army based

Not fair to make some do the long rides all the time, seems like we are gonna have to rotate meet venues due to the EAR covering such a large area!
