really? I thought there was a legal requirement for this now. Maybe it hasnt been passed yet and they are just getting ahead of the curve. If i remember rightly it was some EU thing so might be working its way over here at some point

The MOT is a basic roadworthyness test, it barely scratches the surface of UK and EU Type Approval requirements.
Adding a switch into the headlamp circuit will add even more voltage drop to an already poor system. If you do this I would strongly recommend you add relays and heavy duty wiring to mitigate this. Last edited by mikerj; 13-01-13 at 10:31 AM. |
