Well, the a$$ectomy is done

Few things I've learned:

Forget the angle grinder. As mentioned above, it is overkill. A dremel with a cutting disk is perfect for the job, and also a hacksaw for the bigger parts.

Troy, sorry I haven't posted any photos, but I basically followed these instructions:

I already had the tail tidy and brackets though which I bought from another member. Be prepared to carefully cut around the ignition controller box as you can't get at the screws to undo it very easily. I couldn't undo the rear light either, so just cut carefully avoiding wires.

Overall, a stressful experience, but the end result is worth it.

A few pics after all

Still need to finish off the wiring and get a smaller number plate. I've since fitted mini indicators too.
