The block of foam is hiding a DC power supply socket for my Sat/nav. It just sits there snugly in place and has the dual function of hiding/protecting the thing from the elements.

Yes still works fine. There a littleish corrosion if you look closely under the left screw but otherwise mint.

Yes actually that's the real deal. Not one of these pics have gone through photoshop for two simple reasons...
1. The camera did a good enough job
2. I've become so feckin' lazy

Very nice shots and bike, jealous of the sunshine, but I'll be out there in April so not too long to wait .

Nice pics!
Does indeed look lovely there, especially compared to the bleak winter scenery here.

Tha mate. Not too shabby isn't it and it did it's fair of touring in Sicily and Italy, and used troughout winters. Admittedly our winters are wet but not as much as yours and we don't have road salt, although if you live close to the sea you'd get more than your share of the white stuff. There's a small dent on the tank from an off me and my girlfriend had last summer. Been meaning totake care of that for ages but it has never been too bad a weather to leave the bike asleep in the garage for long enough.
